From 1986 to 2008, head taekwondo instructor and technical director at several schools, including the Châteauguay Taekwondo Academy and the Rivière-des-Prairies youth centre — where he ran a programme set up with the Montreal police to get teenagers off the street. With Grand Master Chong Soo Lee he also developed and taught the NCCP I and II taekwondo programme.

From 2002 to 2004 he founded and ran NETRIENTS, a sports supplement company that grew from 1 to 5 employees and from 0 to over 400 retailers.
